"You are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."

Ephesians 2:10

Director and Founder

Emily Gilman

Director Emily Gilman grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and began performing on stage at age 3. She attended Cedarville University where she earned a BA in Theatre Performance. In the  25 years that she has been working in theatre, Emily has held the titles of actor, choreographer, stage manager, director, and more. Some of her favorite credits include Mary Poppins, Beauty and The Beast, Ken Ludwig’s Sherwood, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Spitfire Grill, for which she received an Irene Ryan Acting Award Nomination from The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Emily has long dreamt of her own theatre company and she is so excited to bring that dream to life in Troy! Her philosophy as an artist: "God first introduces himself to us in Genesis 1:1 as The Creator. We are all made in the image of the ultimate Creator, therefore we each have the opportunity, responsibility, and joy to be creative. Furthermore, as a Christian I have a call to use this gift with excellence for the glory of God."
